Established in 2004, Laws Engineering Ltd is a family run business specialising in the root crop handling and grading industry. Having grown up rearing cattle and pigs and assisting in the maintenance of his Dad’s haulage lorries, Director Ian Laws started working life as an aprentice at R J Herbert Engineering Ltd. Here he spent the next 14 years learning how to fabricate, paint and lastly install HERBERT machinery. In 2003 he decided to branch out on his own continuing to work with Herberts until recently. Laws Engineering Ltd now specialises in the refurbishment, repair and modification of your existing machinery prolonging it’s working life and usefulness.
Working from farm to packaging, we offer a simple, direct approach ensuring an effective engineering solution. With a fully equipped workshop including machining and cutting equipment we are able to offer an effective breakdown and repair service fabricating bespoke rollers, guardwork etc. We also hold a comprehensive stock of spare parts. We have a long established working relationship with a local belting company who are able to swiftly supply and fit a wide range of belting products.
